Our Community
At Pierce, we encourage each other to follow Jesus faithfully in order to experience the tangible power and presence of the Lord. If you're looking for an laid-back atmosphere to worship and learn about God in a community of faithful Christians, we have a place for you!
What To Expect
Congregation
Pierce Church is home to people from a variety of backgrounds—families, college students, empty-nesters, and retirees. Come as you are! There are no formal dress expectations during worship.
Worship
Our 8:30 service holds abbreviated worship with one singer. The 10:30 service is led by a multi-instrumental praise team that plays worship music, hymns, and original songs in a folk style.
Teaching
30-minute sermons are delivered from Scripture and are accessible for new church attenders while also encouraging deeper intimacy with God for those who are long-time Christians.
Family
Children's ministry includes programming and activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers up through elementary. Volunteers will help you get your kids checked in and in the right place each week.
FAQs
Where are you located?
We are conveniently found at 201 N 8th Street in Upland.
Which door should I use?
If you have kids to check in or desire some coffee (or both!) you will want to use the Cafe entrance. If neither of those applies to you, the other two entrances are more direct to the sanctuary.
How do I get my kids to the right place?
We have an awesome team of volunteers waiting for you at the kids check-in desk through the Cafe. They will get you checked in and in the right place for the morning! After worship, simply come back to the desk to get your kids again.
Is there somewhere I should sit?
Pastor Chad is partial to the front row himself, but you are welcome to sit anywhere you are comfortable.
Will I need anything?
Not at all. Some people bring Bibles or notebooks so they can take notes during the message. Others bring their coffee from the Cafe. We are just glad you are there with us.
